Rural Entrepreneurship and Connectivity Program (RECP)
Empowering Rural Youth, Connecting Communities
The Rural Entrepreneurship and Connectivity Program (RECP) is an innovative initiative by TARD Ghana designed to address youth unemployment and improve connectivity in underserved rural communities. In some rural communities where internet access is limited, television and radios serve as vital lifelines to the outside world in these areas. By equipping young people with technical and entrepreneurial skills, RECP empowers them to build sustainable businesses, connect their communities, and create pathways to economic independence.
The Main objective of this project is to empower unemployed rural youth with practical skills and entrepreneurial opportunities that improve their livelihoods, foster self-reliance, and contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.
To bridge the gap between rural and urban opportunities by providing practical skills training, mentorship, and tools for rural youth, enabling them to thrive as entrepreneurs and bring essential services closer to their communities.

Connecting The Unconnected
In some rural communities where internet access is limited, television and radios serve as vital lifelines to the outside world in these areas, TARD Ghana trains unemployed individuals in rural areas in TV satellite installation. By equipping them with the skills to install and maintain satellite dishes, this not only connects the unconnected but also creates job opportunities and promotes entrepreneurship. Through this initiative, participants earn a livelihood while serving their communities, fostering economic growth, and addressing youth unemployment.
